Cursed

Today, i did another stupid thing again.

The first time was almost 2 years ago when i scalded my hand and had to bandage it as though i broke my wrist.

But this time, it was not hot water..

There was a vase in the toilet of my home. Sometimes i do wonder why it was there, because it really served no purpose, other than putting some fake flowers.

And so when i was leaving the toilet, i knocked onto the vase which toppled over from the shelf. It fell onto the floor next to my foot and shattered.

Intense pain immediately shot up from my feet and as i looked, blood started oozing out from both feet.

I got cut by the glass.

2 really minor cuts on my left foot and bleeding stopped shortly. 1 minor cut and 1 really serious cut on my right foot.

The major cut was so deep that blood couldnt stop flowing out. It was real painful.

Anyway, still went back to school for dance practice but i knew i couldnt dance. Then ended up going Clementi to see a doctor.

Well, i knew stitches would be required, so at first i was quite reluctant to see one as i may not be able to perform tomorrow. But still, went ahead.

Lying on the bed in the clinic, the doctor first injected local anaesthesia 3 times around the wound. It was the most excruciating moment ever. Imagine sticking needle onto your wound. Aww..

After that he started stitching my wound which i didnt really feel anything. Thanks to the anaesthesia. 4 stitches in total as i saw.

He also gave me a tetanus jab.

Well, after like 6 hours, the bandage was soaked with blood. So i decided to change the bandage myself, and also check if my wound has burst open from a little dance practice. Ha.

So i managed to take a picture of my wound... A word of caution: Do not click to see it in enlarged size if you don't want to see gory stuff...

Cut on top right

And the total bill?

A shocking $186! Wished they gave me medicine for heartache also....

Sighz... What a price to pay.

And i don't even know if i can perform tomorrow...
