No Collide

Yes, don't know why somehow gatherings/events/activities just happened at almost the same time...

It has happened several times before and sometimes i even had to make decision between 2.

Anyway, last friday went to watch Hiphop Nite'08 - a dance competition organised by NUS some other dance club. Ha.

Well, the standard wasn't that good. Furthermore, we have to pay to watch it at UCC! Last year was free!

Just 9 teams
Only 9 teams took part and the eventually winner was rather expected. So expected the entire competition seems biased. Firstly, when teams advanced to the next round, they were grouped accordingly by the judges, not drew lots.

Secondly, the eventual champion duo didnt manage to dance the newly learned choreograph in Round 2; one of them just stood there blankly, forgotten the steps half the time. Still, they proceeded to the next round.

Anyway, WL was in the competition too and he managed to get into the semis where 4 teams left before getting ousted. But no prizes though for advancing thus far.


On Saturday after class, we were celebrating G's birthday. Just a simple one though..

2 candles stand for 20 years old
And on Sunday, it was JQ's birthday party. As expected, no one followed his 'Local/Asian Celebrities', except the Protagonist.

Ha, well, well, buffet dinner, card games, self-entertainment, and cake....

And 1 candle stands for 25 years old?? Don't quite get the algebra...

Ahhh... I have a test this thursday! And i haven't studied...
