Trip to Aurora, Ohio
There were 6 of us who all had our off day on the same day (pre-arranged, actually) and so we rented a MPV that could accomodate 6 people and embarked on our 2-hour drive to Aurora in Ohio early in the morning on 24th May.
Well, the purpose of the trip is to visit the factory outlet stores there and shop till we drop, especially so since we just got our first pay check...
Initially i thought the place will be really like factories but turn out not. The place is just like rows of each individual boutique and the size is certainly not small..
There are quite a few branded stuffs and since we happened to be there during their Memorial Day sale period, things were definitely cheaper than in Singapore.
And so i bought quite a few stuffs over there as mentioned in the previous post. After 9 hours of intensive shopping, (surprisingly, we guys took longer than the girls since we went separately on our shopping spree once there), the girls spent like US$600+ total as compared to the guys US$400+.
The drive back from Aurora to Sandusky took another 2 hour and everyone were very hungry. So we stopped for some Steak n Shake at the town area and had our full. Grocery shopping at the nearby 24-hr supermarket at 12am and finally home-sweet-home at 1.30am.-2.jpg)
Another off day fruitfully well spent, but tiring!
