NUS Arts Festival 2007

This year, i actually attended 4 events. Getting more artsy, yah!

The opening event was Hip Hop Nite '07 by NUS Dance Blast on 2 March. It was more like a dance battle competition. Nice music, nice ambience and nice dances. Good entertainment overall.

Next, was March Odyssey (三月天:征) by NUS Chinese Orchestra on 11 March. Sounded very cheena-ish, but looked grandeur still. Ha. I didnt fall asleep, hence it wasnt boring afterall.

Then, was InTempo 2007 by NUS Wind Symphony on 18 March. Gave goosebumps at times. One could easily form images of what the piece is trying to project. At one point of time, i thought of the landscapes in Lord of the Ring. Haha.

Lastly, was Dance Uncensored by NUS Halls of Residence on 25 March. There was funk, hip hop, modern and lyrical jazz from the six different halls. Some were good, entertaining, breath-taking but some were just okay.

Okay, after all these, next was my turn this coming wednesday and thursday.

Hopefully, it will turn out well. Ha.
