Striking back

They were on the prowl again. I saw them.

Setting up the ad hoc base in McDonald's, they gathered round a table and were discussing their strategies before the actions. The at least 15-strong were just blocking the way inside the restaurant.

Moments later after they have dispersed from the meeting, I spotted them scattering at the usual hunting ground, holding their usual folder clipped with stacks of A5-sized paper.

I made a quick count while i was queuing up for my bus, and there were 9 of them - surveyors from Pr******al! They were in such close proximity to each other, almost forming a human barrier to whoever is going to walk past them.

There is no survivor.

One particular surveyor employed a new tactic i have not seen before - stretching far out his hand with the survey, showing it directly to an oncoming innocent in his/her face and when ignored, pointing at his watch in a bid to convey how fast the survey will take.

No verbal contact made.

If he would use the same tactic on me, i would probably snatch the survey and walk away, thinking oh, what a nice free gift that man is giving out to me.
