Up and Down. In and Out.

A bit overdue, but i was rather busy for the past week - with test, assignment, studying, and other personal stuffs. Ha.

Anyway, last saturday, 15 March, was a rather activities-filled day. That's the results when everything all crashed and happened on the same day.

At noon, it was the business of the committee members of our club. The old members will now pass on to the new committee for the next one year. Well, the new committee has 1 more member than the old one, and it is all girls this time. Seems like no more guys are interested in the club anymore..

Old comm meets New comm. So who is old and who is new???

They are YOUNG at heart

Acting YOUNG All girls committee

It was also NUS Open House day, but i didnt have time to grab those freebies, but saw this rather interesting board. But how true are they? Hmmm...

Real reasons for joining NUS??

Ha, anyway, it was time for The Audition for CAC+US production at 2pm. It is a chance to perform, to shine and to dance. I wasn't really keen, but was coerced to join in.... oh well.

Having number-tagged and taught 2 eights of steps, we had to dance in groups of 4 and in front of the panel of judges, consisting of just our instructor and HW who isn't involved in this production.

In addition to the 2 eights we'd just learnt, we still had to do 2 eights of freestyle. While some entertained through other choreographs, and some probably tried to at least swayed a bit, there were surely also some who gave their best and showcased their true talents. As for our group, we did something hilarious. Only those who saw it will know. Ha.

After the dance class, i had to rush down next door to UCC for Intempo 2008....

This was my 2nd time supporting YT and this year's highlight was the 50-minute long Planet Earth symphony which made use of electronic sound effects - the Big Bang and flying stars/planets and such.

The supporters

Rushed down to Crab Party restaurant which is opposite Serangoon stadium, for a dinner with my aunt's and family to celebrate my mother's birthday. As my aunt's husband knew the boss of the restaurant, he gave us lots of recommended dishes which we couldn't finish. Haha. We had 3 different kind of crabs - Chili Crab, Cheesy Crab and Butter Crab in addition to other dishes like salad prawns, salted huge prawns, salmon and even fried durian as dessert. Weird.

After the dinner, went back home and before long, rushed down to Tiong Bahru Plaza to catch the 11.50pm 'Rule #1' with the other dhop's people. Fiona Xie acted in the movie but was dubbed with some cutesy chinese-speaking voice. In all, it was a horror movie with dead bodies and scary scenes such that maybe i looked too young for it as i was actually asked for my I/C for this NC-16 movie?!?

Anyway, had a little supper/mid-night snack at 2am+ and finally reached home at 4am. It was rather tiring.

And just last week, i was informed to have 2 tests next week - 1 test was brought forward due to majority of class's request and the other was just announced by the lecturer 10 days in advanced. How great.

This marks the 4th consecutive week to have tests, my 6th and 7th tests after mid-term break and my 8th and 9th test for the semester. Gosh.

No time to relax. So who say im very slack one??
