Truly Asia Day 3/4
24 July 2006
Waking up to a sumptuous breakfast buffet at the hotel, it was time to pack up and move on to Genting Highlands!
The coach from Melacca to KL took 2 hours and from there we transfered to another coach to Genting Highlands that took another 1 hour!
The air was cool at the 2000-metre Genting Highlands, completely different from the hot and sweltering KL (it was only 16 degree celsius later at night, cool)...
After checking in into First World Hotel, we decided to play the outdoor Flying Coaster before going for dinner...

The twist & turn. Embarking. Saying prayers. The flight. Quick finish. Safe and sound.
Dinner at KennyRogers and we proceeded with the indoor theme park. We played bumber cars, 4D motion ride, slow-moving boat ride, ferris wheel...
But we soon got bored and went to the casinos!
It was my first time stepping into a casino and it was sure an eye-opener. I lost RM60 there and stopped playing after that when we were only at our first casino.
We visited 3 other casinos there and one was a high tech one where all games were fully computerised. No real dealers there to shake the dice, give out cards or spin the roulette.
But still, most of us lost money except D who actually won RM900.
Finally return to our beds at 4am after some noodles. Tired.
25 July 2005
Time to pack up and return home.
Did some last minute shopping and left Genting at 1pm.
While transisting in KL, managed to see the Kuala Lumpur Tower and Petronas Twin Tower from a distance...

Slept most of the time on the journey back and only reached Singapore at 8pm+.
Good to be back home!
