21st birthday celebration - This is something probably i will be facing a lot this year...

Yesterday was Jiaxiu's. We had a simple steamboat dinner at Marina Bay. A total 7 of us including Yuanhin who had just came back from Australia. But he will be going back again today...

Anyway, the dinner was both enjoyable yet messy. Ha.. I collected some live prawns and one crab. But we had to cut the crab up and wash it ourselves. We din know how to do so we left it at our table first. Later, we decided to try. So off we went to queue up at the basin. And when it was our turn, Simon took the chopped. Haha... it was kinda funny. He chopped up the crab with much effort while YH, junlin and i were watching. But hey, we did caution him not to chop his finger off or else his future dentist career will be gone... haha. Nonetheless, after much washing and smashing the shell, the crab ended up cooked in a pool of butter and eaten by us. The butter crab was quite deliciously actually..

We spent about 2 and half hour for our dinner before deciding to go for a session of lan at Park Lane. We managed to squeeze 5 people at the back seat of Peter's car though. Ha..

On the road, we almost met with an accident. Yah, our car were at the 3rd lane from the left. Then we needed to turn left to the road leading to the carpark. We will miss the road if we still dont turn. So without checking the mirror, in a last minute effort, Peter tried to cut to the 2nd lane. Then the car behind honked at us. Yes, almost banged to us cuz Peter cut abruptly. Then next was even more exciting -- Peter straightaway turned left into the road even when we were at lane 2, meaning he further cut into lane 1. Just imagine we were at lane 3, then we cut halfway into lane 2 and then made a 90 degrees turn from lane 2 into the road. Yes, we made a left turn at lane 2, not 1. And when we actually turn left into that road, the car at lane 1 was very near to our right side...

Well, luckily, Peter was speeding. Yes he was driving at least 60km/h. That actually allowed us to quickly cut the lanes and turn into the road. And it all happened too quickly. Perhaps within a distance of 20m on the road, we managed to go from lane 3 to 2 and left turn from lane 2 into the road. If peter was slow or if the car at lane 1 was driving at high speed and din brake, the car would have crashed into us from our right.... Ahh...

After that momentarily adrenalin-rushed excitement, we sang the birthday song and cut the cake for Jiaxiu at some corner in Paradiz Center. Jiaxiu went off after that while the rest went to play lan... Ha

Anyway, my birthday is about a month away, and i dunno how to celebrate it. Dont really feel like making it big but then the thought of 'HEY it is my 21st birthday - a significant day for everyone in his/her life' has made me so uncertain.

Hiaz... How i wish the day will not come so fast...

But i do wish my ORD will come fast... Yesterday, 2 April 2005 was my 2-year anniversary with the SAF. But still, 59 more days!
